WATER IN THE EARS

Kasady went swimming and got water in her ears. She HATES it when that happens. She got in the shower and then laid on the bathroom floor until the water came out of her ears. While waiting, she fell asleep.

1 month old!

Kate is 1 month old today. Time sure has flown by. She is a great baby; she sleeps!!! Kas and Damon love their new little sister. They fight over who gets to hold her, burp her, feed her, etc... Kas is a great little helper. She's always willing to go get anything that I need. It's been wonderful.

The latest/final addition

I had my baby on June 15 at 4:52 in the morning! Very exciting! She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is as healthy as could be. Kasady is so very excited to have her. She wants to hold her every second she can. Damon hasn't seen her yet as he has been on a scout camp-out all week, so he'll get to see her when he gets back tomorrow.

Her name is Kate Berniece Argyle. As you can see, she has lots of dark hair.

Everything went well while at the hospital. She is a really good sleeper so far, but I'm sure that will change here shortly.
The kids and I moved back over to my mom's house. We've all settled in quite nicely and are getting used to things again. The kids love living with grandma and are glad to be back in this neighborhood. Damon's excited to go to American Fork Junior High this next year and to play football for AF. The best part, he says, about playing for AF is that he won't be wearing purple.
My sister, Patasha Nutters, and her family were a lot of fun to live with. The kids thought it was a party every day and night. There was always someone to play with and something to do. I was actually getting used to being over there and liked it. I liked her ward and her neighbors. I miss talking with Sarah every morning and seeing first-hand how crazy her kids are.

It's been a while

The kids and I have finally started to settle in somewhat to my sister Sarah's house. Kasady thinks it's a party every day and night. She's loving it. Damon shares a room with Ben, who snores so very loud. (Now I know why Sarah and Adam have their bedroom at one end of the house and his at the other end). We have invested in some ear plugs for Damon and he's sleeping much better now.

If you didn't know already, Jerott and I split up. My sister, Sarah (a.k.a. Patasha Nutters) was oh so kind to let us come stay at her house for a while since Jerott had me move out and I really didn't have anywhere to go. At first it was hard adjusting to everything going on, but we've settled in very nicely...starting to get a routine down again.

Patasha Nutters

Tomorrow is the big day!! I'm very, very excited!! These 2 months have just flown by so fast. Tonight we had a big BBQ at Mike's house and it was so much fun. I couldn't believe how many people there were. It was great!!!

My little sisters, Sarah and Darby, had a surprise for me and Jerott. It was awesome!!! It was the best present anyone could have ever given us. It was a special video of Patasha interviewing all of mine and Jerott's family. So very funny. Mike did an awesome job at editing the video. I loved the part where Robby started doing a strip show for everyone. (This is the Robby that I hardly hear a peep from....so very quiet.) I just think that Robby was trying to impress the camera girl (Darby). He was all excited to get to know this cute, young, georgeous, lame camera girl until he found out she was happily married with 2 kids.

Jerott and I are going to watch it again so we can hear what people are saying as we missed half of it as there was so much noise from everyone laughing. Good times...good times. (The look on Roy's face when he answered the door and saw Patasha with the lame camera lady was classic. The look he had explains how everyone must have felt when they saw Patasha Nutters.)
Thank you Darby and Sarah, and everyone else, for doing the video for us. It's perfect! I know it took a lot of time and effort on your part to put it together. I couldn't have asked for anything better for my wedding.
I love you, Sarah. I can't tell you thank you enough for all the time and work you've put into MY wedding. It means so much to me.
I love you, Darby. Thank you for helping Sarah with everything, even though she called you a "lame camera lady" on national television.
Tomorrow's the big day and I'm so excited to be married to Jerott. I can't believe it's here.

Moving ahead with the plans

As of June 16, 2008 at 3:47 p.m. MST, this is the plan...

Date: July 26, 2008.
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Ceremony location: Talon's Cove Golf Course in Saratoga Springs.
Party location: Sarah Smith's house on the golf course in Saratoga Springs.
End of party: Whenever Sarah kicks us out.

Of note, these plan are in no way set in stone until the invitations are sent off to the printer and are able to change in any way, shape, or form until that time with no obligations or penalties.

We have decided that Jerott is going to move in with the 3 of us in mom's basement. Shhhhh...mom doesn't know yet! How fun is that! Jerott is very excited.

The wedding is going to be very nice, but simple. It's something that Jerott and I wanted to share with our close family and friends. We're both very excited to be married and sharing our lives together. The kids have already made a lot of friends over in his neighborhood so it won't be too big of a transition for them.

As things become more finalized, I'll update everyone. But as for now...That's All Folks!
